 Cryptozoologist - Ken Gerhard

Ken Gerhard is one of the fastest rising young stars in the world of cryptozoology; the study of hidden animals. Born during a full moon on October, Friday the 13th, Ken became fascinated with real monsters while growing up in Minnesota and Texas. As a youth, Ken’s family traveled around the world, including exotic destinations such as Australia’s Outback and the Amazon jungle, further peaking his interest in natural mysteries. Gerhard is currently an active field researcher for the Centre for Fortean Zoology, as well as the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization. His resume’ includes tracking Bigfoot throughout North and Central America, as well as on-sight investigations into the Loch Ness Monster, Dutch sea serpents and even werewolves in Wisconsin. Jack Roth is a writer/photographer who resides in Orlando, Florida. After receiving his degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida in 1994, he has written for various publications both as a staff and freelance writer/editor. Some of these publications include Orlando magazine, Central Florida Family, Florida Realtor, The Source, XS magazine, Where Orlando, FM Magazine, Pegasus Magazine, Create, Parenting, Orlando Leisure, Central California Parent, San Diego Family, Ghost Magazine and Parapsychology magazine.

Jack seems to be happiest when either writing or taking photographs. His landscape photography has been shown at the Crealde School of Art in Winter Park, Florida. In fact, his photos are what initially led him to Andrew Nichols, Ph.D., a world-renowned parapsychologist. While taking pictures at the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana, he discovered that he had captured some rather strange anomalies. The discovery of these compelling paranormal photographs prompted him to contact Dr. Nichols.

Jack immediately began to train under the tutelage of Dr. Nichols and participated in numerous field investigations across the country and especially in New Orleans, where he produced and wrote a pilot episode for the TV show Hauntings.
