Ghost Hunt
What to expect on the Alamo Ghost Hunt. First of all is a really good time. We visit 13 different haunted locations. Why are these areas and
buildings thought to be haunted today? The answer would be the amount of fast and brutal deaths that have taken place in the very locations we
visit on the tour. This tour does not stay very long at one location. This is a fast pace high action tour. You will visit hanging trees, old cemeteries,
and haunted hotels, along with places where people are entombed in the walls. You will stand in the very place where men, women and children
begged for their lives while having their heads removed for fun and revenge. Feel the energy from those who remain behind today. These spirits
remain from heroes and murderers, along with your average men, women and children, all with the same thing in common: to linger behind in
death.
Graveyard
Tour
We bring Ghost hunting equipment for every
single person on our tour.
We are the only tour who brings Ghost Hunting
Equipment for every single person on the tour.
Anyone that tells you having ghost hunting
equipment doesn't matter. They Don't Have Any.
Don't be fooled by similar claims of other ghost tours
where the whole crowd shares a few pieces. We
bring thermal meters, emf meters and dowsing rods.
Ghosts are departed souls who have lived and died,
and for some reason have chosen or even been
forced to remain on this earthly plane after death. It is
believed that the brain's energy and the spirit's
emotions that make up who we are in life remain after
the death process. The equipment passed out on our
tour is the equipment used on TV shows like Ghost
Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Paranormal
State and many others.
Downtown
Tour
For the movie Paranormal Activity 2 we were chosen by Paramount Productions to be part of the promotion. We were sent Shirts, Hats,
Posters and Screening passes to be given away on our tour. We don't make any claims of being movie stars. We are just the ones they call.
The New York Times, Ghost Magazine, The History Channel, Discovery Channel, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox can all honestly say that The Alamo
Ghost Hunt is thought to be the very Best Ghost Tour in San Antonio!!
Our tours have been mentioned in everything from Home and Garden Magazine to USA Today.com. These .coms list Alamo City Ghost Tours:
ask.com; ehow.com; about.com; USAToday.com and others.
We are the only Ghost Tour in San Antonio that is known for the quality of our tour. If you pay attention to our competitors they want you to take
their tour over 20 minutes of T V fame. There is a reason they only spent a few minutes on these programs that reason should be obvious. Would
you quit being a big Time T V Star to do tours in downtown San Antonio.
Do to our extensive knowledge of ghost hunting in general, several people who have been assistants with us on the ghost tours have gone on to
be members of T. A. P.S., Ghost Hunters International, the United States Ghost Hunters Society and other established groups.
Alamo City Ghost Tours has been operating in San Antonio for the last six years. We have led more ghost hunters throughout the battleground of
The Alamo than anybody else in the world. We also own a historical tour company called Mission Trail Tours. We are very well known for sharing
accurate and unusual history. Our facts and knowledge are challenged on a daily basis. Our tours are loved by ghost hunters and history lovers
alike.
Here is a list of just a few reasons why you should take our tour over the others.
1. Being voted one of the top Ghost Tours in America means we're the best here as well.
2. We are the only Ghost Tour promoted on the Texas Tourism website.
3. We are the most broadcasted Ghost Tour in San Antonio 2006-2009
4. We are clearly the choice of the Locals and the Ghost Hunting Community alike.
5. Last of all we don't go to ghost hunting events to get our pictures taken with celebrities so we can put them on websites and brochures too
mislead people into thinking we are friends. We leave that up to our competitors.
Our reputation comes from the quality of our tour as it is done today. Not from years of over exaggerating about an appearance on a TV
show that was done several years ago. Our reputation comes from the tour you are getting ready to sign up for. There is a reason they only spent a
few minutes on these programs that reason should be obvious. Would you quit being a big Time T V Star to do tours in downtown San Antonio.
Walking distance - about one mile. Adult $15.00 Children 5 -17 $10.00 No charge 4 and under Tour last 1.5 hours. Groups
of 10 or more we discount $5.00 a person. Wear comfortable shoes. This is a fast paced, high action tour. We do not
stand around any one location very long. This tour is entertaining and educational.
Here is what a local writer S. Malone had to say;
Alamo City Ghost Tours in San Antonio, TX is one of the most interesting tours I have taken and I have traveled worldwide. I am far from being a
ghost buster or even a ghost lover, however after taking the tour, the library has seen its share of me researching hauntings throughout Bexar
County. JR, the tour guide is not only a ghost hunter but a historian so I gained a lot of valuable information about San Antonio that is not common
knowledge to a tourist or new resident.
